This session explores how EA can be a driver for digital innovation, enabling organizations to integrate new technologies, streamline processes, and remain agile. Attendees will learn strategies for aligning their EA with digital initiatives, ensuring a smooth transition, and avoiding common pitfalls.

Key Takeaways:

  • Aligning EA with digital transformation goals
  • Integrating cloud, AI, and IoT into existing architectures
  • Building flexibility and scalability for future innovations

10:00am – 10:30am: Refreshment & Exhibit Break

10:30am – 11:30am: Accelerating Business Transformation with Enterprise Architecture

Tom de Ridder, Product Manager, ValueBlue

Tony Sina, Sales Engineer, ValueBlue

In today’s rapidly evolving business landscape, we must adapt quicker, manage increasingly complex IT landscapes, all while ensuring projects are delivered on time and in budget. By harnessing the power of Enterprise Architecture through Solution Design, we can significantly enhance the success of business transformations.

11:30am – 12:30pm: Inferential Models Implementation Considerations

Logan Chung, Global Solutions Architect, Equinix

Inferential AI refers to the process where trained AI models, typically deployed on edge devices or cloud infrastructure, perform real-time decision-making or predictions based on incoming data. This stage is critical as it requires low latency to ensure prompt responses, especially in applications like manufacturing processing, hospital ERP, and airport operations. The trade-offs between latency , infrastructure, and costs are key considerations—while high-performing AI models can deliver accurate inferences, they may require significant energy and processing resources, leading to model drift and failures. Only about 28% of models are successfully deployed today.

Key Takeaways:

  • Strategically placing AI at the edge to decrease latency for applications/AI performance.
  • Trends on data storage and unification at the edge and cloud, including security
  • Inferential AI and AI model training infrastructure deployment to increase success rates at the edge

1:30pm – 2:30pm: Architecting for Agility: EA in an Era of Continuous Change

In today’s fast-paced business environment, enterprise architectures must be adaptable to changing market conditions, customer expectations, and technological advancements. This session will explore strategies for building agile architectures that can evolve with the organization. Attendees will learn how to create modular, scalable architectures that support rapid iteration, continuous delivery, and innovation.

Key Takeaways:

  • Building modular and scalable architectures
  • Supporting continuous delivery and rapid iteration
  • Creating architecture that responds to evolving business needs

2:30pm – 3:00pm: Refreshment & Exhibit Break

3:00pm – 4:00pm: Enterprise Architecture in Data-Driven Organizations

As organizations become increasingly data-driven, enterprise architecture must evolve to manage and leverage vast amounts of information. This session explores how to design EA strategies that support advanced data analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives. Attendees will gain insights into building data architectures that enable real-time decision-making, while ensuring data governance and security across the organization.

Key Takeaways:

  • Designing data-centric architectures for real-time decision-making
  • Integrating AI and machine learning into enterprise systems
  • Ensuring data governance and security in a data-driven world

4:00pm – 5:00pm: Enterprise Architecture for Business-IT Alignment (Enterprise IT Panel Discussion)

The key to a successful enterprise architecture strategy lies in its alignment with business objectives. This session focuses on building EA frameworks that enable business-IT alignment, ensuring that technology investments support strategic goals. Case studies will demonstrate how to use EA to improve decision-making, foster collaboration between business and IT stakeholders, and create a unified vision for the future.
